How Any Student Can Improve Grades

One of the reasons why students who benefit from paid education generally do better than those who are educated in the state system is they develop better abilities for learning.
Learning is just like any other human activity in that we develop our ability to learn by practicing good learning habits. It we do not develop good learning techniques early in life we are at risk of developing poor learning capabilities that may stay with us for the rest of our lives.
Hence if you relly want to improve your learning methods so that you can achieve better grades at school or college or university, how should you do it?
The answer to use one of the NLP techniques that is the basis of the Neuro Linguistic Programming process.
When linguist John Grinder and mathematician Richard Bandler set out to develop their neuro linguistics programmes, the first notable step they took was to study the activities of expert communicators like Milton Erickson and Virginia Satyr. Having formed an idea of what these outstanding individuals did differently from others Bandler and Grinder then built models of their behaviour patterns.
Once these models had been built they found that the models could then be replicated in other people. It’s this ability to reproduce exceptional behaviour that has made NLP so well-liked in the business world.
As a student who wants to enhance your grades what you should do is find an impressive student and model her or his behaviour so that you can learn the way to behave in the same way. This does not necessarily imply that if they are “geekish” you have got to become a “geek”. You can be selective about the behaviour that you choose to copy so as to improve your own learning skills.
It is suggested that you spend time studying NLP and even working with an experienced NLP practitioner to ensure your success.
NLP Practitioner David Ferrers defines his mission as, “to enable people to make changes in their thinking, their feelings and their behaviour that make a real difference to their performance both at work and in their private lives”. He generates results for the staff of major companies like Dell, Yves St.Laurent, J&J, RBI, GM and P&O by a process of business coaching using NLP Techniques.
